OpenHaus began with the idea that house music should feel like home. It should be loud, warm, and open to everyone who walks through the door. Since 2024, we've brought Berlin's underground spirit to a weekend built on good sound, good people, and zero pretense. No matter how you move or where you're from, there's a place for you on the floor.

OpenHaus started as a response to a scene that had started to feel closed off. Too many doors, too many lists, too much posturing before the music even started. A small crew of DJs and promoters in East Berlin wanted something different: a floor where the only thing that mattered was showing up.
The first edition ran out of a single warehouse space in 2024, with no headliners announced in advance and tickets priced so that nobody got left out for the wrong reasons. Word spread fast, not because of who was playing, but because of how it felt to be there.
By 2025, OpenHaus had outgrown that first warehouse, moving into Kesselhaus Berlin and expanding to a full weekend. The lineup grew too, but the idea stayed exactly the same: house music at its best has always been about everybody getting free together, not about who's standing at the front.
That's still the whole point. Whoever you are, however you move, there's a place for you on the floor. Doors open, minds open, every year.
